Polaroid

In 1958, Polaroid hired graphic designer Paul Giambarba to help them develop a new visual brand that would separate them from Kodak. What Paul designed was a simple, beautiful and unique visual language. At its core was a color bar system and sans-serif typeface that is still recognizable today.

On the brink of 30 years since initiate the battle between two giants, Apple and Microsoft, skirmishes still occur and although the PC dominate the global market for PCs, Mac sales are constantly increasing every year.

Simplifying Product Packaging Design

Here is a great project that takes popular products and simplify their packaging design. The designers accomplish to reach to me with each of their “simple variation” of the product packaging and even if I didn’t know about the that product it would definitely catch my eye. I really like the idea it’s original and a great example how less is more.

It’s called “Minimalist effect in the maximalist market” and here few of the product packages.
