High Speed Photography

You’ve probably seen the Discovery show called Time Wrap, it’s one of the coolest shows that I really enjoy.

Using the latest in high-speed photography, the Time Warp team takes some natural events (a cat licking its paw, a champagne bottle being opened) — and some not-so-natural (a water balloon to the face, a raw piece of chicken exploding) — and turns them into a thing of both beauty and learning.

High speed photography is the science of taking pictures of very fast phenomena. It’s defined as any set of photographs captured by a camera capable of 128 frames per second or greater, and of at least three consecutive frames. Here are some very cool photographs that use that technique.

Funny & Creative Egg Art

You may have seen some of these images around the web. A while back some people have started using chicken eggs as an art canvas. This is nothing new as you may already know there is holiday celebrated in most western country called Easter, where people color chicken eggs for health and prosperity. However this newly formed art form is much more entertaining and somewhat more creative because the artists try to create a scene opposed to just color and put some kind of art using the eggs. Here are some most popular images I found around the web.
